Seiko 5 Sports x Honda Super Cub Limited Edition This limited-edition has been created in collaboration with Honda’s world-renowned urban motorbike - Super Cub, popular since its launch in 1958. The eye-catching retro style watch echoes the Honda Super Cub features. This watch is inspired by the Honda Super Cub 110 motorbike. The dial emulates the front of the bike, with the 12 o’clock marker shaped like the front headlight, the 1 and 11 o’clock indices like the front indicators and the Super Cub logo as it would be on the vehicle. A fuel gauge icon features on the crown, whilst the bezel showcases a 30km/h speed limit sign. The accompanying NATO strap can be worn over the rider’s clothing – a favoured feature for motorcyclists to see the time at a glance with both hands on the vehicle. There are 6,000 pieces of this limited-edition design available globally. Each limited-edition piece comes with its own special box. Seiko 5 Sports is known for over fifty years of reliability, durability, performance, and value. ‘’5’’ represents the original five key features of every Seiko 5 still present today: Automatic movement, Day-date display, 100m Water Resistance, Recessed crown and Durable case and bracelet.

Renowned for its performance and reliability, Seiko’s inhouse 4R36 automatic movement powers the watch and it is an automatic calibre with manual-winding ability, convenient hacking-seconds function and quick date change facility showing both the day of the week and date of month. With a 41-hour power reserve and 24 jewels, it beats at 21,600vph and has both a good level of anti-shock and anti-magnetic protection for peace of mind.

The stainless steel case is sealed with a screw case back for 100m Water Resistance. Both the hour hands and the hour markers are coated in ‘Lumibrite’ for reading the dial in low light. The Steel bezel has a green colour matched aluminium insert to complement the dial and has an attractive coin edge finish making its unidirectional rotation a tactile and pleasing function through its smooth clicking action.
